Created with expertise. Shaped by experience.
The Prepared Birth Guide was created by Lauren Scott, PT, DPT, a physical therapist with specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation.
After experiencing an unplanned Cesarean birth followed by a VBAC, I saw firsthand how different birth can feel when you understand what's happening in your body and feel prepared for the possibilities ahead.
I created this guide to bring together evidence-informed education, clinical experience, and my own experience as a mom — so you can walk into birth feeling informed, capable, and confident.
